Most of the work we do at Soundcrafter is for limited budget independent films and locally produced TV. Eight employees typically work long hours in the fall and spring and part time during the summer and autumn. Often many months will pass without work. In 2012 Soundcrafter held an open audition. Forty people applied and three were hired. When the new studio is completed we might be interested in accommodating interns and hiring new employees. We will accept resumes at our “info” email address, but right now we have no positons available. When we do need help we will also draw from those who auditioned in 2012. We will be most interested in you if you have a degree in either film or music and a good understanding of Pro Tools. If you are a sound editor or mixer already, one of the best ways to get your foot in the door here is to bring a project you are working on to the facility.
