SOUNDCRAFTER IS A GROUP OF FREELANCE CREW MEMBERS AFFILIATED WITH A SOUND FACILITY. THE CREW MEMBERS SPECIALIZE IN THE RECORDING, DESIGN, EDITING AND MIXING OF SOUND FOR MOST TYPES OF MEDIA, INCLUDING FEATURE FILMS, STREAMED TELEVISION SERIES, GAMING, WEB CONTENT, AMUSEMENT PART PRESENTATIONS, AUDIO BOOKS AND PODCASTS.
Generally for the lowest budgets the client pays the crew member directly. The crew member works from home and the Soundcrafter facility is only used for recording or the last days of the mix. For medium and large budgets, typically more than three crew members, the client pays Soundcrafter and Soundcrafter retains a percentage of the budget for the facility.
Many of our crew members also work as editors, foley artists and re-recording mixers for other post audio facilities. The Soundcrafter facility is also home to Chez Boom Audio and ATX Audio Post.
